Teaching online is an amazing opportunity to reach students beyond the confines of time and space. The Center for Online & Digital Learning is committed to preparing Bay Path faculty [and students] for success in the online environment.
The Center for Online & Digital Learning acts as a partner providing knowledge and support for effective online pedagogy, technology and assessment advancing excellence in teaching and learning online and in hybrid environments. We work with Program Directors and Faculty in the creation of their online courses.
Effective online instruction can take many approaches and every learner is different. We strive to provide every faculty with personalized learning support before, during and after they teach online.
- Faculty new to online learning at Bay Path can expect to be enrolled in the comprehensive “Faculty Introduction to Online Education” before they begin building and teaching their first course online at Bay Path.
Within this asynchronous course faculty are encouraged to explore online learning pedagogies and strategies that will enhance their online instructional experiences. Faculty are supported, in the process, as they construct their own online course.
As faculty move through their online sessions, our staff is here to support you. If you are looking for training one-to-one or in a group, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 413.565.6880. You can also check our Workshops and Training to see if we have an upcoming training. Please visit (and subscribe!) to our blog for up-to-date information regarding iOS, OS X, Windows, and Android in the classroom!
